I graduated from Boston University with a bachelor's degree in Philosophy. I furthered my education and received a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia. I traveled to India, after my second year in college, to teach a history class. Additionally, while I was studying to take the LSAT, I tutored friends informally. I fully understand the LSAT and therefore, I tutor in all aspects of it. The LSAT stresses out a lot of individuals because the stakes are high. However, it does not require a large amount of knowledge. All you need is a strong understanding of a couple of simple principles and a few reliable methods to keep track of things in complex situations. I am able to help students strengthen their understanding of those principles and sharpen their methods. This allows them to be independently confident to take the LSAT calmly.My style of tutoring is to focus on the issues you find challenging, understand the reason you answered it incorrectly, and then teach you how to navigate correctly through similar problems. Television (or diversion) is second to listening to classical music in vying for my spare time. Classical music broadened my awareness, and I found myself teaching myself how to play the piano and to study scores (away from the piano).
