Experience
I used to tutor a lot back in high school, where I would regularly travel around to students' homes or the library to help my students with any problems at all! I loved being able to explain and teach in a personalized way, to help students learn where they might not have quite understood during class. Above all, I like being an overall mentor to each student, a friendly face that he or she could always go to for absolutely anything. I've always excelled in math, and even ended up majoring in math-intensive fields. My favorite subject was always Algebra, since you could get that satisfaction as something just "clicks" when you start doing problems the right way. I'd love to help other students reach that point. I scored a perfect 800 on my Math II SAT subject test and a 780 on the regular SAT Math section (790 Writing, 730 Critical Reading). I also received 5's on the AP tests for Calculus AB, Calc BC, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, English Language, and English Literature and Composition. I've also received 4's in Physics C Mechanics, Computer Science AB, French Language, and Music Theory.
