I started my career in the educational field as a teaching assistant in a general Chemistry class at Elon University. I also worked for two semesters as a teaching assistant in an Organic Chemistry class. It was my job to aid in the development of my students' laboratory and conceptual skills that were needed to successfully pass the course. I went through a lot of personal growth during that time as both a researcher and an aspiring educator.By helping my students, I have gained insight into the amount of diversity there is in learning methods and comprehension skills. I was able to properly articulate techniques, protocols, and concepts to various degrees. I have also held myself to a high standard of dynamism so that my approach will match the unique learning style of my student. I have found that one of the many keys to success in chemistry is conceptual understanding, instead of straight memorization.Some of the subjects that I am well-versed in include Science, Math, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, AP Calculus AB, Calculus 1, Algebra 1, and Algebra 2.During my spare time, I try to stay active and I love to play sports, such as basketball and golf. I also enjoy watching movies and television shows.
